KleenAir foggers destroy odors.

Conventional odor removal sprays don’t really remove anything. They simply mask unpleasant odors with pleasant odors. Unfortunately, the relatively heavy liquid spray droplets dissipate and settle, then the unpleasant odors return. KleenAir aerosols actually bond chemically with and neutralize odor-causing airborne particles like mold and mildew spores, cigarette smoke and cooking residues. Also, KleenAir aerosols are engineered to expand and fill an interior space, unlike simple directional sprays.

The result is true odor removal. KleenAir foggers:

  • destroy odors associated with people, animals, food, chemical processes and smoke.
  • are effective against smelly acids, amines, mercaptans and thioethers—including hydrogen sulfides and ammonia.
  • neutralize and destroy odors caused by mold and mildew (M-5 Foggers).
  • are not bactericides, fungicides or sanitizers.
  • can be delivered with virtually any desired fragrance.
  • are color-safe for fabrics.

M-5 Total Release Fogger

The M-5 Fogger is specially formulated to neutralize and destroy odors caused by mold and mildew. The fogger releases a fog of lightweight, small-droplets into the air. The very small droplet size of Kleen Air products is a proprietary feature that allows the fog to expand more evenly throughout a surrounding space than other aerosol foggers and sprays. One five-ounce fogger will eliminate mold and mildew odors within a space of up to 600 square feet.

How it works. As the M-5 mist comes into contact with airborne mold and mildew spores (as well as dust mites and other airborne particulates), wetting agents and active ingredients attach to the spores and other particulates. Unpleasant odors are neutralized and the new, heavier molecules of M-5 bound to particulates settle out of the air and onto surfaces. At least two hours after release of a fogger, surfaces should be vacuumed thoroughly to remove the settled residues. Residues allowed to remain on surfaces may become environmental irritants.

Naturally, sources of mold and mildew spores should be identified and cleaned thoroughly. Interior spaces with consistently moist surfaces that serve as breeding grounds for mold and mildew will require regular fogging. The required frequency of fogging will vary for every situation and is best determined through experience. Our proprietary small droplet size does provide greater residual odor treatment action than other foggers and sprays.

Frequency of use. Regular use of M5 mold odor eliminator significantly reduces airborne mold and mildew particulates. Removing airborne mold and mildew particulates makes it less likely that these substances will settle and attach to surfaces, where breeding can lead to progressively worse infestations. (Incidentally, the undetectable M5 residue left behind after treatment, incidentally, will also continue to absorb many olfactory irritant particulates other than mold and mildew.)

Many mold and mildew odor issues can be resolved with just one or two applications. However, every situation is different. for example, in humid climates, mold and mildew particulates are often reintroduced on a regular basis into interior spaces, through doorways and by air conditioning systems. Under these circumstances, regular treatment may be necessary to keep odors from mold, mildew and dust particulates under control.

D-4 Total Release Fogger

The D-4 Fogger neutralizes and destroys odors caused by any airborne particulates other than mold and mildew (see M-5 above for mold and mildew odors). The fogger releases a fog of lightweight, small-droplets into the air. The very small droplet size is a proprietary feature that allows the fog to expand more evenly throughout a surrounding space than other aerosol foggers and sprays. One five-ounce fogger will eliminate odors within a space of up to 600 square feet.

How it works. As the D-4 mist surrounds and envelopes airborne particulates, the particulates bind chemically to the active ingredient molecules through anionic attraction. Unpleasant odors are neutralized and the new, heavier molecules of D-4 bound to particulates settle out of the air and onto surfaces. At least two hours after release of a fogger, surfaces should be vacuumed thoroughly to remove the settled residues.

The required frequency of fogging will vary for every situation and is best determined through experience. Our proprietary small droplet size does provide greater residual odor treatment action than other foggers and sprays.

K-2 Total Release Fogger

The K-2 Fogger is similar to the D-4 product above but is specially designed for auto interiors.
